While working in semiconductor facilities, Julian noticed that most areas had no windows—aside from egress hallways, cafeterias, and a few offices. Even in those spaces, blinds were often drawn to maintain privacy or temperature control.

This sparked a question: What if we could simulate windows to give occupants a connection to time, weather, and the outside world?

Julian quickly built a concept prototype and proved the idea was not only feasible but also economically competitive with traditional glass.

But the potential went far beyond simulation. Replacing or reducing glass windows with Quist Windows can:
-Shrink HVAC system requirements
-Provide holistic, biophilic views otherwise impossible
-Integrate advanced features like night vision and human detection

Of course, without OEM customization, some interfacing challenges remain. Yet this is the crossroads we embrace—refining our minimum viable product (MVP) to bring Quist Windows from concept to full commercialization.
